The P's
Purple-clad turf warriors who think Stilwater belongs to them—and they'll burn the city to keep it.
The P's are a rival street gang operating out of Stilwater, one of the primary antagonistic factions the 3rd Street Saints must wrestle territory from across the Saints Row series. They first appear as a full rival gang in Saints Row (2008) and return as a major faction in Saints Row: The Third (2011), where they contest control of the city alongside the Ronins and the Disciples.
As a gang, the P's function as a mid-to-late-game territorial challenge: their turf is carved into districts the player must seize through combat, vehicle takedowns, and dominance missions. They field a recognizable uniform, a distinct color palette, and a roster of enforcers and lieutenants who escalate in difficulty as the player pushes into deeper territory.

Lore & Background
The P's are a hardened street crew that has held a chunk of Stilwater's urban sprawl for years before the 3rd Street Saints ever set foot in the city. Where the Ronins project a militaristic, almost corporate discipline, the P's lean into raw, chaotic street dominance—drive-bys, drive-throughs, and a willingness to put bodies on the pavement to keep a block under their flag. Their territory is marked by their color scheme and graffiti, and their enforcers patrol in branded vehicles that double as mobile weapons platforms.
In Saints Row (2008), the P's serve as one of the two principal rival gangs the player must dismantle, block by block. Their lieutenants act as mid-boss checkpoints, and their final turf represents a significant escalation in enemy density and vehicle aggression. The gang's presence is felt throughout the city's mid-game progression, forcing the player to split focus between multiple fronts.
By Saints Row: The Third (2011), the P's are one of three major rival factions competing for Stilwater's crown. The game's open structure lets the player attack their districts in any order, but their enforcers are retooled with heavier weapons and more aggressive vehicle behavior. Their territory remains a visual and mechanical signature of the game's urban warfare loop: grab a vehicle, roll through a block, and leave the P's flag trampled under your tires.
In Their Own Story
The rain hasn't stopped for two days. You're parked in a stolen muscle car outside a P's checkpoint on a mid-level overpass, watching their enforcers rotate through the underpass below. One of them spots your headlights. The radio crackles—someone's calling it in. You floor it, take the overpass ramp at a dead angle, and the car slides sideways over the guardrail. Below, two P's SUVs peel out, engines screaming. You grab the minigun from the passenger seat. The overpass becomes a kill box. Purple jackets scatter across the wet asphalt. You don't stop until the last one is on fire and the district marker on your HUD flips to your color. The rain keeps falling. You wipe your visor and drive on.

THE P'S — GANG DOSSIER
Appearances: Saints Row (2008), Saints Row: The Third (2011). In both titles they function as a territorial rival gang whose districts the player must conquer through combat, vehicle dominance, and lieutenant takedowns.
Role in the Saints' rise: In the 2008 entry they are one of two primary rival factions (alongside the Ronins) whose elimination is the backbone of the mid-to-late game. In The Third they are one of three rival gangs, giving the player a choice of attack order but a similar escalation curve: early blocks are manageable, later blocks throw waves of armed foot soldiers and heavily armored vehicles.
Key relationships: They are direct rivals to the 3rd Street Saints and, by extension, competitive with the Ronins and (in The Third) the Disciples for Stilwater's overall dominance. Their lieutenants serve as the primary mid-boss encounters in their districts.
Signature set-pieces: Vehicle-based territorial assaults where the player must hold a zone while P's SUVs and muscle cars charge in waves; lieutenant encounters that pit the player against a heavily armed enforcer in a confined urban arena; the final district takedown, which typically involves a sustained multi-stage fight.
Visual and audio notes: The P's are identified by a distinct color palette (leaning purple/magenta) on their jackets, vehicle wraps, and territory markers. Their enforcers favor automatic weapons and heavy sidearms. Their vehicles are mid-size SUVs and muscle cars, often modified with reinforced bumpers. In The Third their AI is tuned to be more aggressive in vehicle combat than the Ronins, favoring ramming and sustained fire over tactical repositioning. Their radio chatter and taunts carry a brash, street-level tone—less corporate than the Ronins, more raw and territorial.
Did You Know?
- The P's appear as a full rival gang in both Saints Row (2008) and Saints Row: The Third (2011), making them one of the few rival factions to span multiple mainline entries.
- In Saints Row: The Third, the P's are one of three major rival gangs, meaning the player can choose to confront them before, after, or between the Ronins and the Disciples.
- Their territorial conquest in both games is structured around vehicle-based dominance missions, distinguishing their gameplay loop from purely on-foot gang warfare.
- The P's visual identity—color palette, vehicle wraps, and jacket design—is consistent across both appearances, making them instantly recognizable in the open world.
