In the Saints Row universe, trucks are the workhorses of Stilwater's criminal and civilian infrastructure. They ferry everything from construction materials to, in the Saints' hands, enough explosive ordnance to level a city block. The franchise's tone treats them with the same deadpan reverence it gives a character who walks into a bank in a tuxedo while a helicopter strafes the lobby: the vehicle is ordinary, the context is not.

By the time the series reaches Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row IV, the customization pipeline has turned even a humble box truck into a spectacle. Players can layer paint wraps, apply decals, and then bolt on rotating miniguns, rocket pods, and missile launchers until the vehicle resembles something out of a fever dream. The truck's boxy silhouette becomes a canvas, and its cargo bay becomes a weapons depot.

The 2022 reboot reimagined the vehicle roster for a new generation while preserving the franchise's core principle: every vehicle, no matter how mundane, should be customizable to the point of absurdity. Trucks in that entry retain their role as the slow-but-sturdy option, now with a modernized visual language and the same spirit of over-the-top personalization.

The Mule idled at the curb on 3rd Street, its paint job a screaming gradient of hot pink and electric blue, a custom decal of a middle finger stretched across the rear doors. The Saints had strapped a twin minigun to the roof rack and a rocket pod to the side panel. The driver rolled down the window, turned the radio up, and gunned the engine. The diesel coughed, caught, and roared. Three blocks ahead, a rival crew's convoy was parked outside a strip mall. The truck didn't need to be fast. It just needed to be there, and loud, and covered in enough lead to make the sky go white.

Trucks appear across the Saints Row series, from the 2006 original through the 2022 reboot. In most entries they are purchased from vehicle dealers or found parked in industrial and commercial districts. They are generally the slowest vehicle class but offer the highest durability and interior space.

Customization is where trucks shine. In Saints Row 2 and Saints Row: The Third, players can apply paint colors, wraps, and decals. Saints Row IV and Re-Elected expand this with weapon attachments—miniguns, rocket launchers, and missile pods—that can be layered on top of the cosmetic options.
